Some good news for those of you who live in or around Morehead Kentucky (I don't know anyone personally, but you may be out there!): Alluring, my self portrait in the Cosmetic Appeal series, will be on display in the Claypool-Young Art Gallery at Morehead State University from January 30 - February 20, 2008. As the title of this posting suggests, the exhibition will display contemporary self-portraiture.
If you live nearby (or love to drive long distances) and love art, portraits, or have never seen a piece of artwork made entirely with cosmetic materials, please plan on visiting the gallery during the exhibition period!
