ABOUT BETH
Beth Pacentrilli creates conceptually based paintings, drawings, sculptures and installations with non-traditional and experimental media. She loves pattern, bold colors, dramatic atmosphere, line, shape, and texture.
Her current work is an exploration of her sexuality and the influences of societal boundaries and definitions that have molded gender. These pieces are often serious, with a mocking edge and touch of humor. While Beth enjoys the constant wandering of her wondering mind, it is occasionally nice to set aside the heavier matters for something more fanciful - she also loves creative writing and is experimenting with the incorporation of illustrative qualities in her artwork.
